I read the BMWCC will be selling tickets for the AM test track at Gaydon. I called BMWCC on Friday but they couldn't tell me what to expect or what use is allowed. Is it just a parade type thing or is a blast possible. Also is it cluttered with cars? In essence is it worth it!

The guys last year said it was fun. I think the pace car keeps at a decent speed but they do get a bit excited if you try and overdo it..

Lets just hope th eweather improves...

Ahh a pace car! It had better be quick. What's the punishment for overdoing it then?

Pace car was a good sort! Touched 140 on the straight! I know that cos I hit the rev limiter in 4th!

ETA I nearly went for a second run too - when trying to leave the final run was just leaving the centre; was soo tempting to tag along!

I was passenger in a Z4 M Coupe which nudged 140mph on the straight today -- so any doubting Thomas's out there missed an opportunity of doing 3 laps for £10 on a big wide track. There's always next year.

I can confirm that I also hit 140 in my e39 M5 and to put it bluntly it was fking great.

The pace car was a Jag XJR V8 Supercharged.

I went out at 2.30pm but a guy in a red e30 estate appeared to blow his engine at full speed on the straight frown

Still highly recommended and cant wait until next year.

Was yours a LeMans blue one Russ?

I was in a black e39 M5. There was a couple of CSLs and an E60 M5 up front.
And that badass ETCC 3 series sounded wicked.

The red E30 I believe wrecked his suspension, as we passed him the car was smoking from the rear and had collapsed at the back. A wreck.

It was fun out there, did two passes in the e34 M5....both at or around 140 mph on the GPS.

Thats the session I was on -- big cloud of smoke -- and that was the end of that
