Old negs found from TVR Factory visit 1990
Discussion
For those who don't know me I own a 1990 TVR 400SE
and have been trying to find where I got the love of TVRs (and especially the Wedges) from
when a few months ago my Dad pulled out the following pic
I thought it was from his old camera, but this weekend my wife was looking for some old pics
and suddenly announced to me " have you seen these pic of TVRs?" from my old negs
They are more pics from the same factory visit, when I went with my Dad
and the Leeds Engineers Society for a look around in about 1990. Scanned and reproduced here
The pink S should certainly be easy for someone to identify!!!!!
Just sorry I could see either my 1989 350i or 1990 400SE
Hope you like them

OK I am an S Anorak.
Those pictures must be about 1993 as there is a mix of V6 bonnets with the central hump and others with the S4 style side slits and no hump (The white one and the red one), so it must have been towards the end of S production.
If they are earlier its really odd that there are bonnets with the side slits - I thought they came much later.
Fantastic pictures thanks for sharing them.

It sayeth in the bible, (I happen to have it to hand IYKWIM) "the bonnet on the early S3 cars was based on the S2 but later models had a new design, where the air intake was removed and replaced by side slits, similiar to those used later on the Chimaera" page 10 col 1 para 6 - as ever, thanks Steve
However, I concur it cannot be as late as '93 with wedges in build and no Griff's etc.

What about the front fog lights on the 'red' colour S' bonnet. You can just make out that the white one has them also. I thought only the S4's has those?
The driving lights were standard on the S3C's which also had cats and LSD, they also carried onto the S4's and V8S's .Rower
