Baby seat in Disco 1

Friend of mine is having a nightmare getting hold of some seatbelts for the rear of his Series 1 Disco that are long enough to go round a baby seat (Jane Matrix I think). It seems that because the top mount is so much higher than a normal car, the belts won't reach. Has anyone dealt with this before?

I've just been through this and after a lot of research I found that the only ones that will fit are the Land Rover ones. They happen to be made by Britax, so I think the best answer is to get a new seat, rather than trying to make one fit with a bit of modification.
