Hi,

I am planning on changing the engine oil on my car and possibly the gearbox too for piece of mind. Can anyone recommend me some decent oils to use?

5w30 - engine
75w90 - gearbox (this should improve the shift quality?)

Is it a lego car, or matchbox ?

It helps if the people know what car you intend putting the oil into rolleyes

It also depends how much you want to spend, I've used Comma's oils for years and consider them a quality product at a reasonable price. They do most grades in semi and fully synthetic.

Sorry should have mentioned that. Suzuki Ignis Sport. Manual gearbox. Ideally best performance for the money that I can get though cost not really an issue within reason. Just some good quality fully synthetic ideally smile Car is driven quite hard at times and when it's not its just short journeys where the engine barely gets to warm up so I don't just want to stick Halford's in it. Gearbox is quite notchy when cold so anything that can help that would be nice - car was ex-demo so will likely have been thrashed to death.

Just wanted to see what you all recommend.
