I have a Rover 4.6 crank from a large journal I believe 2.5" and I need the mains turned down to 2.3" (small journal I believe) to fit my intermediate 1996 3.9 Block. I have the pistons and rods so will be a fairly cheap upgrade. I dont want to use the original 4.6 block they came from as it slipped a liner and my block is perfect.

Can anyone recommend anyone for the crankshaft job Im in Midlands? And what would you consider a fair price approx (never had any machining work done).

Many Thanks

Neal

That's a lot of metal to remove so you may get charged extra but I understand your reasons.
