What does a 1.8 k series standard lump plus decat pipe produce roughly in dB levels as I want to go to a track day at brands a give it death!!! The limits 101 d dB i think. Will I make it or will I have to drive around on the starter motor?? Ha Ha..Please advise

You should be fine if you have a decent silencer (even de-catted). That's assuming it's got standard plenum induction and normal size exhaust.

Yes it has standard induction think with pipercross air filter. The silencer looks like that of a motor bike and ends right near the rear left wheel. My apoligies for the lack off technical knowledge but one has to start some where I suppose. My concern was that on the over run and up gear change the exhausts cracks/pops quite loud which sounds awesome but i dont want to be sent home from a trak track day early. Pop down to Brands on another track day before you plan to go yourself - they should be happy to check the noise level for you.
