Car Auctions Blackbushe.....etc

Talking to a Land Rover dealer the other day, the salesman told me they were putting high end stock (4.2's) through the auctions to get rid....
These cars were still under manufacturer 3 year warranties, has anyone been to the the auctions recently?
Are there serious bargains to be had?

Its not just old sheds that go through auction you know. Probably 75% of total used car stock was procured this way.....

One went through today:

23/08/05 05 Reg Land Rover Discovery 3, 2.7 Diesel, Auto, Grey 39,755 warranted miles sold for £17500

Not sure if that is a good price or not, but it was a very nice looking car.
