Hi - started looking at these as they seem to be great value.

Just wondered if there are any owners on here and if so if they have a view on MPG ?

I do 80% motorway miles so I'm thinking they may not be too bad in this kind of use.

Any info appreciated.

Actually - just seen the other post that relates to XJR so this gives some good info inc MPG. Any other comments on MPG though appreciated.

Avg. mid 20's. But how hard you drive it will determine whether you get 25MPG or 10MPG. hehe

All down to how you drive it.

The car's air suspension, which is a work of genius whatever the track day cases say, drops the ride height in motorway conditions, and that combined with the lightness of the monocoque, and also the fact that the engine is so understressed, means that you can achieve superb fuel economy. Mid-20's is no effort, and you can do better.

It really is a car you should have no right to expect to buy at £60k, never mind the sort of figure you actually can buy them for.

my short test drive of a 04 plate got a cruising of 34mpg at one point (which can't be true). how ever on the long motorway section during the test drive i was hitting 28-31mpg. i would expect if you cruising at NSL you should get 30mpg, i get 29mpg in my old xkr 4.0 when cruising at 70. i must be lucky as most people get low to mid 20s.. hehe
