Hi all,

This is my first post on these forums and certainly not the last!
After owning a series3 V12 some 8-9 years back and then a V12 xjs i have just returned to jag ownership.
I narrowed it down to an M3 versus XKR and as luck would have it a nice 53 plate XKR400 convertible appeared at my local Stratstones.

Bleedin' eck i had NO idea they were THAT fast.

Needless to say i bought it and WHAT a motor, much smoother ride IMO than M3 and every bit as quick.
of course it helped being the right colour (black / alacantra).

So here i am after a days driving getting use to it and still grinning from ear to ear.

Now we just need a few more weeks of sunny weather smile

Looking forward to seeing the pictures. Must admit, a year and a bit down the line and I still grin stupidly at times!! The acceleration is relentless but so smooth, can't imagine what Norman's rather special XKR must be like!

Cheers,
Graham

I'm probably being stupid, but I've been unable to register in the past.
I was asked for a code that was only available for the members section. Could somebody explain?

The Xkec is a members only forum. You can view the non members section however it's use has been suspended due to SPAM attacks. You used to be able to post in there as a non member but any posts now are only from members. The majority of the site is hidden and can only be accessed using your password , once approved by The Guv (i.e. you have paid). Other parts of the site are then protected via a "members" password that you get on joining (in the members pack)
