Hello All,

A mate has just fitted an Audi TT 1.8 engine into his old Golf. He has made all sorts of modifications to it as well (under the bonnet) despite it still looking like an original golf. It is a real wolf in sheeps clothing. He has asked me to help him find out what software he needs to assist in mapping the engine. Does anybody know what it is called qand how I might obtain it?

I'd leave ECU mapping to a professional if I were you.

There are plenty of VAG tuners nationwide who will get up to 260 bhp out of the 1.8T in standard format.

What area do you live in?
