My own personal Angelina Jolie/ Laura has arrived bowtie .... she may be pretty but she also has a mean streak & is fully able to kick automotive butt wink , this is my second affair with her, this time around she takes her top off automatically biggrin & also has a few extra pieces of classy jewellery along with being slightly faster, tougher & meaner than before! Currently all I want to do is sleep with her in the garage, but the Mrs is having none of it…. spoil sport!

I'd forgotten about the feel good factor of just sitting in & looking at the new breed of Astons, automotive art at its best.......Full driving report in a few weeks when I have had chance to fully explore all her moves!

Meantime a few low resolution shots of her, with top off biggrin !

P.S. Apologies to the ladies for the slightly sexist title whistle, couldn't resist it!

Lovely, lovely, lovely - and look forward to you full report. smile

BUT. If it was me I'd wait six months and buy one for 50p/have gone for a PorscheTurbo,R8 etc etc etc/think of the depreciation/gone for the Coupe because it's the drivers version of car, blah blah blah blah blah........................................................there, now there's no need for any of the usual spoil sports to pop up with all the predictable and tedious stuff and we can dicuss what really matters.;)

Fantastic mate! Was looking at one in very similar spec but regretfully only in sportshift, doh! Not good enough I'm afraid.

Is that a Phantom Grey interior or Black?

Thanks Whoami & Jus...
The photos were quick snaps so don't really do it justice(the car was dirty as it absolutely threw it down 10 mins after picking up the car mad!!!!) , the exterior is Grigio Titanio (A Ferrari colour)& the interior is all black (the photo makes it look lighter than it is!) with contrasting course stitch. I must confess to liking the all black interior makes all the switch gear, carpets etc blend in a treat for a classier look IMO, even added the Piano Black centre consul option as this blends well with the new stereo fascia, it also has Taylors Grey headlining to lighten things up a bit!

Piano black is definitely a good choice! I've got the Taylor's Grey headliner on mine too and it's an excellent choice.

Same as my old Coupe - Taylors Grey works really well, lightens things up AND and looks very tasteful IMO.

Thanks Pugs, Mat & Bike racer (where are your first driving impressions biker my boy?), the weather must be my fault as it hasn't stopped raining since delivery, but the refinement seems just like the coupe, so no problems with the roof up gives me chance to give the premium stereo a good test!

Rest assured the roof has been down wink & fuse 22 is out already winkwink the sound of that v8 at full chat with the roof down is awesome biggrin !

Grant - during my short lived ownership wink of a Roadster the one disappointment for me was that the levels of insulation of the soft top combined with the loss of the open 'hatch back' rear space of the Coupe actually meant that, top and windows up, LESS engine note could be heard inside. Have you noticed that?

Its early days with the car, but the 4.7 seems quieter & more refined generally at tick over & very low revs compared to the 4.3, its just as loud from 2k up but now with a deeper/harder slightly more aggressive V8 exhaust note!

Yes I agree with you about the Roadsters roof up noise being more "damped/muffled" than the coupe, although it still sounds good! With the roof down it is unfriggin believable talk about awesome! Initially I like the jeckle & hyde persona, more refined at one end but much more aggressive at the other, of course only time will tell, which is why I'm biting my lip before posting full driving impressions much as I'm chomping at the bit wink!

Lovely car but my only issue is that it's yet another grey Aston, there was an N24 at the autumn concours in orange and it looked great! Let's get a bit of colour back in our lives wink

I know what you mean Rich, that orange does look wild & would certainly get you noticed, it also works on the N400 as a special edition..... but IMO the silvers, greys & greens suit the classy Aston brand far better than flash look at me lairy Orange & Yellow, best left to the RS & Lambo brigade IMO, although each to their own of course!

Anyway with the credit crunch in full swing even more reason to not go for bright "look at me" colours, try keeping a low profile in the one above wink!
