As the title says really, i recieved a NIP through the post the other day, 87mph on the A31 between Bentley and Farnham. The limit is 70mph.

I guess three points and a £60 fine is due? Would i be right?

Yes would be my uneducated guess, i cant see them taking you to court for that one bud so unless you have 9 points all ready i wouldn't worrie.

Thanks guys, i've had a clean license since i passed, spent 3 yrs on a GSXR600 hitting 'lock me up' speeds and then i get nicked in my car!

Still, i'll take 87 in a 70, rather than 100+ anywhere!!!

Lesson learnt!

There is no lesson to learn my friend only not to pay attention to the road and surrounding dangers from now on and concentrate only on looking for speed cameras

Lol!

Even worse still is the fact some very kind sole in a black volvo/merc flashed me about 2 miles before the camera. I slowed right down and after a while gave up and planted the right foot, just as i approached a fing mobile camera!!!

Next time i'll wait a little longer before resuming cruise speed!
