I used to use Tiscali for my calls and faxes as they were so cheap for overseas calls, We then moved building and it turned out due to line restrictions the best thing for us was 2 x ISDN lines which BT fitted.

I just assumed that I could then route my calls through Tiscali or similar, a quick call to them states that for me to route my calls using them I would need to have the ISDN removed, Is this likely to be correct advise or has the cleaner answered the phone and given out some wisdom.

If it is correct then I guess im stuck as the equipment rental was a 3 year deal so I would assume my best bet will be to then dicsuss with BT whatcall packages best suit us.

Thanks

surely it is done at the exchange so irrespective of your line.

You can still use a different network call provider from BT if you have ISDN2e. Certainly all our customers have mixtures of ISDN2e, ISDN30 and they don't use BT! BT(Openreach) will install new lines but you don't have to use BT as your call provider. Why anyone would want to use Tiscali howver..........

Yes you can route calls via another provider with ISDN2, if you want any further help give me a call, BT will tell you this to try and keep the calls with them, the new provider (call carrier) will know what to do.

If you want a quote or any free advice PM me or call me on 0800 840 2 840
