what would you do if someone owed you a few thousand and was avoiding you , after trying to get the money from them .

few details about the person

runs own building firm

dont play it straight as far as tax man goes

employes pepole cash in hand

have there adress and persnol details

what would others do on this matter if you was owed money and they just kept avoiding you to get out of paying .

I'd use their personal details to dob them all to the tax man and social services, and then sit back and gloat.

But I'd be careful not to mention it on a web forum used by tens of thousands of people......

yup i am been carefull on the matter and shant mention names etc as slander could come into it .

i may get a thousand leaflats printed of and post them to all his supplyrs lol

evidence isnt that much of a problem i no way more about his buisnus than most employes do ie how much paid for each job weather it went through the books , method of payment from customer .

customers that have had work done

i can even get hold of is acounts if i realy wanted to but think that would be a bit illigal .

the tax man have looked into him a few times in the past as it is so am sure they would be delighted of some evidence .

Are you a direct employee, or are you a subbie putting in invoices?

If the latter, make sure all invoices are in, and use said evidence to get him done over by Inland Revenue. Be prepared for the creditors letter from the receivers, and get your claim in early.

If the former, small claims court?

Sit back, have a wank, a cigar and a think.

That's what I'd do.

i was a employe which later discoverd that he wasnt paying tax on my wages ,so i then left due to this reson with money still owed .

and as to the question do i realy want to be doing this to pepole like this , yes i have no doubt abut it the money is owed simple realy .

i have sent a letter recorded delivery asking for the money again and put in the letter that i have seeked legal advice on this matter and if the money isnt with me within 10days i shall proceded through a solicter .

i have included bank details and paying in slip with this just incase he wants to put it in that way , but no rsponse or money as of yet and its coming upto 10days .

Is the money is the tax you had to pay to the Revenue, which he had already deducted from your wages, which means you paid two lots of tax on the same income?

if its about the tax owed on your earnings the employer HAS to pay the inland revenue for this UNLESS you signed a form stating self employed etc.

also asking about it here is not a wise move at all!

johnfm shall do fella thanks

and to the other remarks nope it is not money owed to me for what i should of payed in tax , its money for work done , i havnt signed any paper work saying self employed .

i dont realy care if i end up with trouble due to the fact of the matter is as far as i was aware i was paying tax like every other employer charges you , and how can he sy its for tax when he has no recoreds of me actualy working for him time sheets etc .

i will get the money owed to me or criple his buissnus which wouldnt take much.

You do realise that if he reads PH he has now worked out who you are and that it is him you are talking about, and if any of his mates/employees/business associates read it there's a good chance that they know too...

There is a legal system in this country, sometimes it works, often it doesn't. But I'd suggest your first port of call should be the small claims court.

After that you can try the concrete boots. But to be honest the whole 'revenge' thing is a bit childish.

Wait until he's sat down somewhere in public, like the pub.

Crawl up behind him and undo his shoe laces then tie left to right after looping them round the table leg.

Crawl away and then stand in the middle of pub and shout loudly while pointing at him:

"You're a tax-evading, fraudulant, bum-fun lovin' whoopsie"

Let nature take its course. Wham bam, job's a good 'un.

Revenge? Childish?
