I've heard a few horror stories about certain authorised TVR dealerships who make up a long list of expensive phantom faults during services.

I know many of them have racing teams to fund & (in theory anyway) this could be their best way of making money...

Am I better off finding an honest independent specialist to look after her ??

Matt would you not need main dealer servicing to satisfy the terms of your warranty?
If not I use David Batty, and would recommend him.

Those TVR warranty's arent worth the paper they're printed on !

I've never been able to claim anything back...

...not even the price of the paper and that's not cheap these days

I take it that's a "Warranty Holdings" one?

I've been going to Team Proactive in Birmingham for 12 years and I've hardly ever had a problem with a warrenty claim and no fictitious work done on the car. Give Rog the Service Manager a ring and have a chat - they're well into Griffs and looked after the four I had very well.

Never used a main dealer for servicing/repairs (£££'s) but would still stick with a TVR independent unless I had a warranty to keep up. Useful if you want to go drool over all the shiny new TVRs tho'...
