330 e46 buying help

seen a few under four grand e46 saloons for sale lately and i was wondering if anyone has had experience we these fine motors at this price. yes they are all over 100k miles but ive had many cars well into the 200k before.i need an auto but other than that thats the only criteria.i was after a late e36 but at these prices i think this is great value.i have other cars so the mileage will be 5000 per year max.thanks for any advice.
