Bet some inconsiderate bd's phone goes off at the funeral.

RIP Rick....a quietly spoken gentleman.

A very sad loss, and my commiserations to Ricks family.

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but its sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in the relative way, but youre older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

bloody shame, but just imagine how many people have been entertained by him and the band over the years.when you compare floyd to the ste coming from your radio these days, there,s just no comparison.hopefully we will hear mason,s guitar playing for many years to come.

Very sad news, and so young. Absolutely fantastic musician along with his band mates- one of the worlds greatest bands. RIP.

My sentiments exactly. Floyd have been a big part of my music for nearly 40 years.

Another one gone to The Great Gig in The Sky.

RIP and thanks Richard. frown

RIP Mate. Thanks for the memories.

I got the obligatory hendrix perm,
And the inevitable pinhole burns,
All down the front of my favorite satin shirt.
I got nicotine stains on my fingers.
I got a silver spoon on a chain.
Got a grand piano to prop up my mortal remains.
Ive got wild, staring eyes.
And I got a strong urge to fly,
But I got nowhere to fly to (-- fly to... fly to... fly to...).
Ooooo babe,
When I pick up the phone,
Theres still nobody home.

Very sad indeed. Time to spin up the record, get a bit of Torry as well.
