Saab seem to be worse than most at making great looking concept cars, "95% production models" then when they come out they look s

No, they just make concept cars that look great, but never make it into production in any shape or form as of yet, and keep on peddling the same old stuff (with some badly applied 'design cues from our highly acclaimed concept cars' for good measure) for a decade or longer in the meantime. GM, please please sell the badge to someone who has a clue - by now everyone in the industry is painfuly aware that you don't, and never will.

Strangely, following your comments in other Saab topics, it seems you have a flea up your arse with things Saab and GM. I hadn't realised this until just this week. What's also clear is how you don't like being brought to question about seemingly inaccurate comments you make about the marque. Perhaps the reason you delete other peoples posts and restrict their access to said topics then. If I were as privileged as you appear to be in this community, I'd be embarrassed by such actions and behaviour. Grow up and take that chip off your shoulder. It's the Internet.
Interesting. At first I thought they were going to being out a new Sonett, but it seems to be 2+2, possibly with a metal folding roof, or is it a ragtop?
Also, in the 3rd picture there is a c900 convertible in the background - so is this supposed to be its modern equivalent? So is it the next gen 9-3 convertible? I didn't know there was a new 9-3 on the cards?
I'm all confused now. I think a new Sonett with a ragtop option (not folding hardtop cc gheyer version) would be a moneyspinner for Saab, aim for the TT sector, but please PLEASE make it good to drive...

However I'm pretty certain that if such a car makes it to production it'll look TOTALLY different - dull, boring, toned down.
It will then sell in low numbers and have little or no respect in motoring circles - car manufacturers will scratch their heads and wonder where it all went wrong....
So they then design a new concept vehicle that looks fab - then once it reaches production it'll again look dull and totally different.
So the cycle continues.....
