Ian Doyle in the Echo suggesting that we have to get CL to keep this squad together. I think he's probably right
Unfortunately I also think this is the case. I know the club are fighting hard to keep them together for at least another season after this. Non of the top stars will be going any where in January though. Blue62 said:

Agreed. Some of our approach play was sheer delight to watchRuskie said:
Did anyone see that delofeou has in contract that Barca can buy him back for £6.2m on a first refusal basis?
It's old news mate, was announced at the time we signed him, they have first option and the player has to agree to the move, that's why he only cost £4m.In other new, BK's absence from last night's AGM is bound to fuel more speculation about his health.

Buy back clause also states that they have to guarantee him first team football.
I didn't know that, I take it he would have to make a certain number of appearances before they could sell him on? Am I right in thinking the clause lasts for two years and the value increases in year 2?Don't personally think he will go, more likely that he will suffer a dip in form through the winter, this is Everton!
Excellent insight into EFC and BK's running of the club....

Anyone going to Bournemouth this weekend?
I'll be there and feeling a bit conflicted - Everton are my home town club and an inheritance from my father, I have been watching them since 1982. Bournemouth is where I live and I've been watching them since 1985 and tbh have seen them way more than the Blues over the last few years as tickets are much easier to get. Save for a cup game in 1980-something I never anticipated a league game happening!
I will be in the Bournemouth end so might just have to wear my Everton shirt under my Bournemouth shirt and hope for a draw.

Been a blues fan since the 60,s being born there, and my dad being an Evertonian , been at the games where we won the league in the 70,s against WBA, and in the eighties under Howard K, at the game against Watford to see them lift the cup, now live in Bedfordshire and go to watch MK Dons ,and not many Everton games, Everton have not had a game against the Dons but ,the only thing I would hope if the game ever happened, was we (BLUES)didn't give them to big a thumping, I'll be there and feeling a bit conflicted - Everton are my home town club and an inheritance from my father, I have been watching them since 1982. I guess you will know during the game who you are wanting to win, I would like to see Bournemouth stay up. enjoy the game
