New M3, would i need to remap the ecu if....

Will i need to remap the ecu in my new M3 if i swapped in a new sport cat, a new cat back muffler and an M-Gruppe air intake? Or the ecu will re-adjust the parameters measuring the new (better) flow from the intake and the less backpreasure from the exhaust?

Pls educate me, i'm not an efi guy...
