I had my Z4MC re mapped by Ray West @ West Tuning in Thruxton and it was dynoed @ 351 bhp and have since had it on two independent Dynos. One reading was 337 bhp and the other 346 bhp. I guess the point I am trying to make here is that I paid top money and used well respected professionals to do the work on my car and yes, it does feel stronger than standard but knowing how precarious this type of mod can be I would never even THINK about going down the route that you have drawn to our attention.
