Can anyone tell me if a set of 18" E46 M3 alloys will fit on my E46 saloon?

Thanks.

I see no reason why not. My E46 (330i) has 18" wheels with the same size tyres as the standard stuff put on the M3.

e46 M3 Alloys are different to other E46 alloys (different offset etc) and DO NOT FIT

I believe that M3 front wheels will fit all round on the standard E46.

Maybe, but E46's run on staggered rims when on 18's

The M3 18s are a higher profile than the normal E46 18s.

Apparently 4 front wheels will fit on a normal E46. The rear ones definately have a different offset.

They won't fit.

As mentioned, M3 rear wheels are different. If you could get 4 front wheels then they would fit, this is regardless of whether you have staggered M Sport wheels etc etc.

It has nothing to do with the tyres or the size of the wheel, it is the offset.

The regular sport 18" wheels are...

8JX18 ET:47 fronts
81/2JX18 ET:50 rear

And the M3 wheels are....

8JX18 ET:47 fronts
9JX18 ET:26 rears

So the rear wheel is sticking out an extra 3cm, plus if you keep the M3's oversized tyre on the rim you also have exactly an inch extra in height on the side wall as well.

They won't fit with out getting your rear arches rolled, and that is if you change to a lower profile tyre.

M3 = 255/40/18
330d = 255/35/18
