Wot's your visor - Tinted or Clear

Clear with a dark sunglasses strip.

Clear. Tried a dark visor, but found it too dark, especially on longer trips. Great for short whizzes though.

I have 2 lids, if im out during the day i always wear mirrored, if im out at night or when it gets dark i take the one with the clear visor (wear glasses so it makes sense!)

Mostly use a dark one but carry a clear one for after dark and for when it rains heavily.

Dark during the day - it's very bright and sunny here! Clear at dusk, at night and in poor conditions.

I was actually out the other day in bright sunshine with the clear visor and the sun damn near blinded me - it really was dangerous.

Of course I look way more cool with the dark one too!

Dark visor , but i do have a clear with me if i think i may be running late into the evening

Today is a lovely black Arai RX7 with a reasonably blackish visor and have the clear visor in my bag.

Yesterday was a lovely yellow Edwards Arai RX7 with an iridium visor and clear visor in bag.

Tomorrow may be Nolan N94 Stoner with black visor with clear visor just in case.

Choice is good

Got two Shoei visors - one which is clear, one with a road legal light tint (probably not more than 10% I reckon).

Use the clear one unless it's sunny.

Got a clear and midnight black, only use the dark one if it's a properly blinding sunny day. Even then it makes everything look overcast so I get depressed when I ride about.

But it looks so cool!

Clear with medium tint pinlock for normal use (remove pinlock if it gets dark, rains etc)

Medium tint with clear pinlock for track use

i can see the reasons for taking a clear visor with you if you have a tinted one

but where do you put it?

Dark visor on my Arai Alan Cathcart replica.
I also have a clear one but have never used it as i only ride in fairweather.

I also own a mint white Simpson Bandit with black visor. I never wear this as i bought it in 1989! Kept for my Kawasaki KR-1, 'hooning' memories.
Those were the days.
