Hi...Does anyone have any thoughts on the following re: affecting it's 2nd hand value? My Chimaera 500 is about 3 and a half years old. Would I be wise to take it to a Dealer for it's next service and keep the manual fully TVR Dealer stamped..???? Or could I go the specialist garage route and save myself some petrol money!! Cheers

I think at the age yours is you should probably get the dealer service. The acronym FTVRSH seems to mean something in the pages of TVRCC for sale section. Then again - if your local specialist comes highly recommended and you intend on keeping the car for another few years maybe that's the way to go....hmmmn.

I wouldn't worry about the residual value. It's only worth about £13k now, so what's another few grand? (I was offered only £15k trade-in for my '98R Griff 500 by Hawthorns)
