Sorry guys but I'm still confused even after reading all the threads on here....(tyres not really my specialist field!!)

I need new tyres all round - I have a 4.5 with 18 inch spiders. What are my options now the old SO2's have gone??

Help REALLY appreciated!!

toyos or s03s.
I would go for toyos (but that is not based on a particularly objective assessment)

Agree with Gazza. By all accounts S03s give marginally better grip, but cost a load more and don't last as long. I'm VERY happy with the Toyos I've had put on.

having run the Toyo's i would go for S03's, i feel the S03's give you more feedback and better grip in the wet. IMO anyway

Just put Toyo's on mine and think they're great.
Floored it in the wet coming out a junction (forgot i was in a tvr) and the grip was immense.

What's the best profile for the Toyos so I don't my rims up?

i think all the Cerbera's are still on 35 series but could be wrong 225/35/18 fronts and 255/35/18 rears

some were supplied on 40s (shortly after 18s became standard fit)and in fact I know someone who has 40 toyos on the rear (albeit with slighlty less width to ensure no rubbing as his car is super low).

I'm running 225/35 R18 front & 245/40 R18 on the rear from www.4newtyres.co.uk. Would've gone for 255/40, but they don't make it, and I didn't want them TOO low profile. More than happy with handling, no catching on anything, etc. Only problem is that it puts the speedo just under 3% out, which means I now have to drive ON the speed limit, rather than marginally above it.

At the risk of contaminating a nicely concluded thread, has anyone tried Pirelli P Zero Neros? I've read good comment when fitted to other cars. I'm not aware of anyone who has fitted them to a Cerbera. I'm currently on Toyo 235/40ZR18s up front and 245/40ZR 18s on the rear. At replacement time I will probably move to 35 profile (225s at front, 255s at back) - probably Toyos, which I'm happy with. But I'm always on the look out for improvements.

I used to run P-Zeros on my Elise at first. Spent AGES playing with tyre combinations on it, as it was so noticeable, and ended up running s02s that I was finally happy with. I found the P-Zeros quite poor in the wet, and not as predictable as the Bridgestones. Not sure if the same would be true on a Cerbera, obviously.

There's a tyre thread in the FAQ's have you looked at that one, it's quite comprehensive.
