Well I've got to make a decision if I go up tonight or give it a miss.....

I'm running Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs, it's an 07 Hornet. The hotel is booked (and if i cancel now i lose that anyway).

Do I go up and risk binning it (not ridden on a wet track before, and from what people have told me Donny is slippery in the wet). Or do i chicken out.........

Do you risk not going, getting up in the morning having cancelled your day's leave, go to work and stare at the lovely blue skies from behind your desk and think "I wish....."?

Or do you carry on regardless, have a couple of wet sessions in the morning where you take it easy, then break into a huge smile over your lunchtime sarnie as the clouds break and the sun comes out and a dry line starts to appear?

If it's wet then take it a little slower! Ride at a pace you are happy with and don't get drawn into any 'races' with other riders.

Agree, go but just ride to the conditions...maybe it won't be that wet...

I went in the end smile riding in the wet there is quite intersting on road tyres, lots of standing water and some quite slippery bits.

It dried up a bit after lunch and managed to get a nice couple of dry/damp sessions, I really want to go back and do it again on a dry sunny day the track itself was awesome smile

I was there as well, but on the infield at a MotoX cross. Went to spectate at the normal track for a bit. The pace of some of the trackday riders was quite impressive I have to say smile

My mate timed me on one of my laps, 2:30 on the GP circuit.

No idea if that is any good or not though confused
