Guys,

Starting to feel lonely on here now, where are you all?

I posted several question on Friday, and apart from one other thread no one has responded at all!!

Perhaps you have all been buy running around taking your cash out of Bradford and Bingley today.

Please tell me I am not on my own here.

Nige.

I'm not posting until you post a pic of your clutch.....

However I've just seen your post re gearbox fitting. I have a different sequential box to yours - the earlier type. With moine you can remove the lever, you just need release the reverse interlock cable as well.

Mine will only go in with engine and gearbox separate, and as everypne has already stated, bellhousing should be on the gearbox when you do this.

Mav,

Sorry to hear that you have to work all over the weekend, just think of all the money your earning tho!!

Arnie, thanks I had already worked it all out for myself, the gearbox with the lever attached and the bell housing went in very easily with the car jacked up high at the front.

Then the engine on its own was swung in with the crane, which again was a lot easier that we though it would be, all I had to do was remove the alternator, which even though its tiny get in the way, so it was an easy job to remove it with just two bolts.

There are pictures of th clutch in webshots here:

Hope that's what you wanted to see.

Nige.

Nice clutch! I particularly like the red flash. Have you considered cutting a window in the bell housing and fitting a strobe?

Hi Nige

As always, I am following the build with interest.

I didn't post since Thursday last week as I took advantage of the great (for a change!) weather and cleaned the 7 and took it for a few blats smile

Look forward to the updates.

Cheers
