Raise an inlet manifold.

I have a Bosch electric distributor for my ford xflow but cannot use it because it butts up against the underside of the inlet manifold and Weber DCOE 40s. I only need about a centimeter and it will fit. Is there an adapter that will do the job or some way of angling the carbs up by about 5 degrees?

Get a (much)thicker head gasket and some serious intruder pistons!

In all seriousness, altering the inlet tract shapoe will cost you power in all likelyhood. It does on the Caterham manifold for Webers on the VX - again a workaround due to chassis clearance.
