Its called a Junior Timer connector or sometimes a Junior Power Timer connector

I need a 3 pole male version as found on the end of the cable of a VX crank sensor.

If anyone has a 2nd hand reusable type I'd be interested.

Vehicle Wiring Products et al seem not to do a 3 pole male.

Thanks

Chris, I can see them on P12, but only a 3 way Female. They don't appear to have a male. Am I looking in the right place?

yes that's the right place, sorry I thought I saw 3 way, might be worth giving them a call as they are very helpful

Arnie,

There's a chance I have one in the garage. I'll check ASAP - might not be until Thursday I can make it there.

It could be the same connector as is used on a K-series cam position sensor in which case I have one that I can butcher.

Thx guys. Regin, I don't recall the K cam sensor being a female connector. I think the male is on the sensor, so its the same situ as the problem I have.

Sorry Arnie,

It's me who can't read. There is still a small chance that I have the remains of an Elise loom which I can then attack instead. Will check later. Also have to go there to measure a DeDion tube for someone.

If this fails I reckon the connector would be available from a VW dealer. I can get access to their spare parts catalogue and will browse that too later.

Arnie

I have four different three way female connectors

Can you measure the dimension of the male you've got?

Arnie, did you get one of these? I think my crank sensor's dead which means I'll probably have a duff one you can butcher for the lead?

Thx Paperboy,

I ended up buying a second one on ebay for that purpose.

Sorry Tasmod, they are the opposite half of the connector. Seemingly the male 3 pin is impossible to find.

Arnie,

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, are either of the links below what you're looking for (both 3 pin male 'junior timer' connectors)?
