Apologies for yet another numpty question but I have an E30 bmw oil cooler (M3 Part?) fitted to my 320i. The oil pipes look very tatty.

Is there an off the shelf solution (the pipes) which would fit?

Don't mind spending...

I thought the same - I guess my mechanic is just nervous because an oil cooler wasn't originally fitted to the 320i so you can't order the specific parts off the shelf and would need to improvise a bit by using the M3 parts.

Is it a manual or auto?

The auto had an oil cooler fitted for the gearbox and this was below the radiator.

e30 325 had an oil cooler, I'd imagine that's what's been fitted as it would go straight on. Has it got an adaptor between block and oil filter with pipes coming from that?
