Who's fitted one and how difficult is it?

I'm guessing you have to run wires from the back of the reciever under carpets etc to to back/boot of the car.

I fitted one of these to my first Cerbera but shortly after replaced it with a proper mast that I extended up inside the rear pillar. Not an option in a Tamora though, I guess.

I've had a fair play with aerials etc on my Cerbera.

The best is to actually for an external bee sting, but I can't bring myself to ruin the lines of the car.

So for FM I have a £12 halfords amplified aerial along the top edge of the rear boot, just above the tank. It picks up well there.

Earlier this year I invested in the DAB addon for my head unit, and have a dab windscreen aerial stuck onto the bulkhead on the passenger side at the front of the car.

Both do an OK job, not perfect but a massive improvement over the original setup.

Hi there

I fitted one to the Chimaera. In the boot it is a doddle. The amp is tied to the fuel filler tube with a jubilee clip. I ran the "Aerial" along the top of underside of the body using sticky pads and Tyraps.
You need to get the cable from the back to the front. Up behind the dash where you pick up a 12V supply from somewhere.I had the dash out at the time so it was dead easy. Not sure, but think it is possible with dash in, just fiddly.
Really does make a difference. Well worth the dosh.

Got one on the Griff and can pick up Spanish stations, although the radio's been out for 2 years now - big hole instead.

Ah, you're the man that sells these I believe.

So I have to 'do things' in the dash/behind the head unit? Bit worried about that, as I can (and often do) c*ck up the simplest tasks and break things!
