Was out on Sunday for a nice ride (put 140 miles under my belt)

Was on a REALLY nice straight so thought I would 'open her up a bit'

Cue the front end feeling lighter, and lighter and then realising I am about 45+ degrees in the air on the rear wheel!!!

Yes i pooped myself ha ha but managed to control the wheelie and felt like a driving god!

Hate to burst ya bubble but I can guarantee your front wheel was about 2 inches off the road at most rofl

Get practising those clutch wheelies boy!

Got a good "AAAARGH" over the intercom the other week when I pulled away from the lights as I would solo forgetting the added weight of a pillion was pushing the CofG back a bit biggrin

I don't wheelie, well not 1 of them who can just do it. but having fun trying with the Triple. it's very easy to power wheelie in first and second and using the clutch in 3rd. but as said only a very small amount of height. but getting used to it. and having fun

I didn't really enjoy my first experience, in fact I almost cried.

However, since then getting a moto gp style front wheel lift is pretty exciting, but alas mainly for show.

Unless I want to lose my license.

LoL most of what you where feeling was the forks extending, as said after that you probably had a matchbox sized gap between your tyre and the tarmac hehe

Feels great when you first start doing them deliberately smile
