Hi,

The time has come for me to replace the rear disks on the E46 325, I changed the front's earlier this year.

The bds won't come off! I've made sure the handbrake is completely released by undoing it through the wheel nut hole but they stil seem to be stuck on.

Has anyone got any tips on the best way to get these off?

Thanks,

Vee

Rubber mallett. My fronts took ages to remove.

Yep as above. make sure the car is secure on axle stands and then keep bashing the back of the disc with the mallet as you rotate it.

It will evetually come away.

As long as the handbrake is off and the retaining screws have been removed they'll come off eventually with the help of a no.3 special hammer.

Are they solidly stuck or moving but pulling off?
