Alloys for E39 5 Series

Can anyone help me by telling me what size wheels an E39 5 Series must have?

Also would alloys for a 3 Series fit the car?

Must have? Not sure such a list exists to be honest. Are you talking about the PCD and offset and so forth? Personally I would have a look on eBay, I think the popular ones are the M Parallels (or replicas).

Job done, anything bigger on a fairly plain 5 series looks chav IMHO

They look nice, I certainly don't want anything bigger than 17, infact I was looking at smaller than that!

Plenty of 16's around and cheap prices, couple of hundred should get you a set with good tyres
