very good comments but this car runs a 3.2s engine and supercharger to come, straight out pipes, porsche stability management system, etc etc. it also doesnt cost £300,000.
this car is 16 foot long and is 7 foot wide the wheels are 20x12 and 20x10 front this car may have subtle differences but when i am at lights i have people hanging out of there windows taking pictures;
you dont get that in your porsche 911's this car is in pearl orange and the photos will not do it justice, i am talked to,shouted to, and where ever i park it there is a crowd round it, sorry to all those knockers out there you obviousley dont get that in you bolt on goody cars.
Sorry the web site is not up and running yet as the car is only 95% finished we have some things to finish up for the photo shoot

here it is in our local porsche garage and they were blown away also the BMW franchise next door also thought it was mad!!!
this car is individual but based on the looks of the gt and looks and sounds evry bit a supercar

will post more pics and let you know when website is up, thanks again.

I quite like the Boxster as is. The performance mods sound good as well but why dress it up as something it isn't?

Call it a "CGT look alike" sure, but actually branding it a Carrera GT on body is really foolish when it looks as close to a CGT as a Cayman does a Zonda.

You're in for a rough ride here

OK.

I sort of get the replica scene - something like a rep Stratos or Cobra. Something where it is possible to get near to the original on both looks and performace.

But a Carrera GT? Even with the mods you mention you are a long way from replicating GT performance.

What is the anticipated market place for this. How many Boxster owners would entertain doing this to a servicable car?

I object to this

It's a Boxster and this is deliberately misleading. Ever heard of misrepresentation?

It's not that I object in principal to bodykits or replicas (I want a Superformance Daytona Coupe) but sticking the name of something on another chassis is just plain wrong.

Is that the Norwich Porsche garage?

Think i would of prefered it looking like a stock Boxster.

Reminds me of the MR2's that try and look like a Ferrari.

sorry to affend any one, but are not forums areas for people to discuss and have there own opinions!!!
we are not out to misrepresent as this still is a porsche not an mr2 and it does fly and as for matching performnace get real this car is not £300000, i know you hard core tuners and piston heads out there may scorn, but if you knew the work that goes into a project like this, you would know that all we are saying is open your mind a bit!!
this car standard is 280hp nevr mind what we have planned!!!
thanks again for real comments!!

I have issues with the Boxster. The looks are contentious and the performance stunted (no LSD or 'proper' engine so as not to embarrass 911s) so modification seems perfectly fair game. But this isn't a mod - it's an attempt to be passed off as another model.

Am not offended, I just wonder where your market is for this?

Porsche customers are pretty conservative, there cars are valued and dare I say, loved?

You cannot match the performance of the real thing, so that takes away one market segment, those that want the performance but cannot splash 300k (get the point?).

You kit is obviously going to come at a fair cost premium, is this going to add value? No. How many potential Porsche owners will pay extra to have a modded car, I'd say very few. So there will be limited resale in this. You have the cruise market, but your base car price will rule out many of these who will stay with Civics and Astras..

To quote the TV show.

I'm out.

Get real? 'Real' comments? You mean 'it's only fair if you pass nice comment', shirley? And thanks for recognising that hard core tuners etc just turn up in their garage one morning and find their car magically transformed. You're contradicting yourself, sunshine.

If you're going to preach on here a nomex suit is a prerequisite.

You keep telling us this car is not 300k and that my dear friend is painfully obvious. You have clearly never visited PH before. If you had then you simply wouldn't have dared post this absolute montrosity on here. Now do us all a favour and crawl back under which ever stone you crawled out from taking this vile, vulgar, jelly moulded piece of st with you or grow a pair and put a post in the Porsche section. Where people who have got the real thing can give you their honest opinion.

Do your research fella
