OK - so which make of wiper blades are best for the Griffith? Last ones we bought were Bosch and they are crap. It is not the screen as we had a new one last week following an incident with a very large stone.

Big M - the rubber ones are better!

Crap will only smear your windscreen -- and attract flies.

Will there ever be a post on this forum that jigs and flasher don't hijack and turn into an argument?

Sorry dobbo2 and podie I didn't mean to upset you - I apologise.

Podie - will the S wiper blades fit a Griffith?
Dobbo2 - Are the wiper blades on a Smart Pulse good? If so what make are they?

Not upset, just confused.

Think you've mis-read... I was saying I've put Bosch blades on and found them to be good...

Rain-X is an excellent product IMO but having used it quite alot I find that it doesn't work well with wipers. You don't even need wipers if you're travelling above say 30mph as the wind tends to blow the water straight off. Below 30, the wipers just seem to glide over the surface leaving a thin layer of water as the rubber doesn't seem to get the same contact with the glass.

What am I going on about? time for another tablet.

And whislt on the subject of wipers. Does anyone know what vehicle the wiper arms are sourced from mine have gone weak on the springs. Ive always found the Bosch ones good. Perhaps your springs are tired like mine hence not causing the blade to push firmly enough 'gainst the glass.

I use champion blades, but also find bosch to be excellent. one major prob is the tight curvature of the screen at it's edges, very few blades will bend to that shape so you nearly always end up with a bit at the very edge that doesn't get wiped..
