Hi, I've just got a rrl322 04 54 plate. I changed my off side rear wheel yesturday and my air suspension has stopped working since? it says on the display "air suspension innoperable" and won't respond to anything I do?

Also, I've only had the car a week and I had a rrsport before, but the power steering seems to go easier and harder to turn for no apparent reason? I've checked the fluid level and it's fine although it is a dark brown colour? is this normal?

Any help or advice you can offer will be most appreciated.

Thankyou in advance,

Anthony.

You should open the tail gate and put the hazard lights on if you are jacking the car up. Or at least that is what the tyre fitters do to mine and tell me the reason is to "inform" the suspension that maintenance work is taking place.

Try that and see if it resets itself.

You're lucky that the pump didn't stop working 200 miles from home like our LSE did a few years ago!

Dealer reset by the look of things. (Although a decent indy who has the right kit would probably be better and cheaper than a main dealer)

I just came looking for this thread as i remember your problem.

I have just read on another forum that this is the fix proceedure. Various people came back to thank the poster who provided the info so it does work. 3 very easy steps.

1. Start Car
2 Turn the wheel full lock to the right.
3. Turn the wheel full lock to the left.

Job done. Sorry i never found this earlier for you, but i just read it 5 mins ago and logged on here especially to let you know.
