TomTom 930 music file help needed

I’m very happy with my 930 but can anyone help with music files?

I have loaded tracks from my pc one album at a time but all the tracks are filed in A-Z from the tiles.

How can I get the right tracks onto the correct album so I can play by album?

If it's only reading them on a flat-file format then simply append the album name to the front of the filenames.

Sorry that it's not a proper solution, just a workaround.

With the Tom Tom attached to the PC I have created a separate folder for each album in the Juke box.

Seems to solve the problem.

Sorry, when you said you'd put them on one album at a time, I assumed you'd done one folder per album, and that it hadn't worked - hence the 'workaround' tag on my post.

If you just put all the files in one folder, then they would of course play in alphanumeric order - just the same as if you listed them in one folder in Windows/MacOS.

Glad you got it sorted though - never had to use the TT for music myself as I just put an MP3 CD into my head unit - probably sounds better than the sound out of the little TT speaker.

No problem, for info i play the TT through the FM radio and use the full car system which seems to work well.
