Building a second Ultima...

Hi all,

I've noted that many Ultima owners are now considering building a second car using the knowledge they gained from the first build.

My question is, would anyone consider building a car for someone else?

I enquired some time ago about the cost of a Factory built car and was wondering if/what savings could be made if someone was willing to build a car for me.

I know a lot of the cost depends on what spec you go for but I was looking for a 'ball park figure'.

Your help is greatly appreciated !

Is the spec you are looking for out of the ordinary?
If not then look at some of the cars in the classifieds.
Building for someone else is loaded with problems and risks. What if the guy fails to keep paying etc.
Another possibility is that the factory may not be quite so helpfull.

If you have specific requirements then another possibility is buy one that's close to what you want and get someone to mod it for you. There are people here who have helped others in the past and may be willing to take on the task.
