Looking for a family car with room for 3 kids, and have tried 3 series touring, but too small.
Have looked at a 525d touring and I loved it, great performance, with more than ample boot space.

However, tempted by 530d, and the touring is outside my price bracket (£13K).

Therefore, anyone got a e60 saloon? What is the boot space like? Need to know if it can hold a 3 wheeler buggy AND some big bags, etc?

Cheers to all replies.

I've got an E60 and 2 kids under 2 - boot will hold our twin (Phil & Ted Sport) buggy no problem. There is also plenty of room around this to fill with soft holdalls/bags but suitcases would be too big.

Best thing it to go to a dealer and feign interest in one of their used cars and ask to try the pram/buggy in it.

In the current climate they should be desperate to help.

If you really don't want to do that I'll try and send through a couple of pics with our Phil & Ted in my boot if you think that would help.

the boot is huge. It will take a Bugaboo plus bags.

I've got an E60 535d and the boot space is more than enough for everyday use (I have 4 children!), but it depends on what yuo are carrying!

Cheers mate, yes, this would be great. We also have a phil & ted's sport, so was exactly the post I wanted to see!

Thanks to everyone else's posts, cheers.
