TOM TOM FM Music problem
Discussion
Does anyone have a fix for interference when transmitting music through the FM facility to the in car radio / speakers.
The problem seems be as a result of having the power cable for the Tom Tom hard wired into the car rather than using the cigarette lighter socket.
If I play tracks with the power cable to the Tom Tom attached I get back ground noise.
If I play tracks without the power cable attached the quality is fantastic.
Has anyone had this problem and found a fix for it?
Thanks

You might have a bit of success if you get a ferrite fitted to the power cable.

other than that, all I can think of is that the power cable runs too close to the aerial and the hardwire might need re-routing?
