Well having had a long conversation with my buddy CliveF We have both come to the conclusion that the Griff section is getting a little Boring and Err.... slow... Humor wise So if you have any Gossip or any old Rubbish you would like to get off your chest then Say it Now !!! No Holds Barred Unless the Mod's Get involved that is.. BB Come on Now... fellow Griffters.... What do you Know ? Or what do you want to get off your chest ?

Quinny said: To be honest, I don't think its just the Griff forum. The whole site seems to be on a bit of a downer. People ask a question, or make a comment, next thing there's a f king slanging match going on, and half the time its over nothing. There seem to be a lot of folk who like to big em selves up by putting someone else down. I'm not talking about banter between mates, some of em are down right nasty. I've seriously considered spending a bit more time on the club website, just to see if there's less of an atmosphere. There are certain threads on this site that I'd like to contribute to, but just can't be arsed, as some f ker will come back with a smart arse remark. There seems to be a lot of the good guys have left, and the d heads are running the show. The only places I tend to visit now are Major mods, Griff, Chim, TVR stuff. Most other forums are full of idiots. Hey come on mate ....We all have a laugh most of the time buddy

Griff and Chim forums are the best on PH.
But there seems to be a bit of an atmosphere around the whole site.
Can't quite put my finger on it, but I don't like it.
As an example, I recommended this site to a local guy recently. He was less than complementry. He was a Jag owner. Said it wasn't the sort of website he'd like to be assoiated with. Well if its any conciliation buddy.. I'm also a Jag owner mate... check out my Profile ...Perhaps he's a bit of a snob That's his problem IMHO

I think there are a lot of trolls about Andy... But the major disappointment is the lack of discussion and open mindedness on the site these days. There seems to be an element that don't want to look around different solutions / ideas / directions, just too focused on 'you must do it this way' / 'how do I do this'. As most of us 'older timers' (or farts on your case ) know there are always different ways of tackling things and many diverse solutions. Face it! how many more 'will these wheels fit' threads can we put up with Its such a complex box to measure What about a 'bone' of the week thread award?

Andy, I `ve been reading your posts with interest ever since I first found pistonheads, and to be honest mate I regard you as a sort of "Agony Uncle", whenever theres a problem, handy andy is always there posting helpful photos showing us how to do this or that, top stuff mate, so keep it up, and don`t shy away to t`other side too much!! anyway,............ dear Uncle Andy, my wife says I should dress up more, be a bit smarter rather than just the dirty jeans and the egg stained t shirt, I didn`t hear much of what she shouted at me after the dress up more bit, hence now she is threatening to leave me as I am wearing her clothes in an attempt to please her, but I am dressing up for her, ( and in fact some of it is quite nice, have you ever changed an oil filter wearing a mini skirt?) please help, what am I doing wrong,...........a totally confused griff owner!
