A3 TDI - Recommend a garage in London?

My partner has a "Y" reg A3 TDI (Not sure exactly which engine) which is completely gutless on the motorways. Any incline and you put you foot to the floor and nothing happens. When accelerating it pulls okay for a bit and then the power just dies, despite the revs rising. A appreciate there's little info there; I'll get more detail over the weekend when I drive it again.

I'm sure it shouldn't be this gutless, so can someone recommend a garage around London or any (basic!) things I can check to see whether this is normal behaviour. If it is, then we're selling it!!

Sounds like a ECU problem, although I'm not an expert. Might be worth taking it to your local dealers tbh, I know some of the garages in london try and charge you for unnesscary work.

Consider a specialist 3rd Party - I am about 1hr outside London and use www.autops.co.uk they have all the diag software etc

Turbo or MAF is my guess.
Do some research on audi-sport.net and uk-mkivs.net (VW but same engine).

London is a big place - I know that Harrow Service Centre and Russel Automotive around NW London.
