Whats the cheapest way to get a replacement key + fob for a 55 Audi A6?

With all the dealerships facing hard times are there any good deals out there?

Can it be done at any of the VAG group dealers?

Audi dealers only as far as your "any VAG group dealer" question is concerned, each brand can only order and code its own brands cars

You are unlikely to get deals on keys as they are vehicle specific unlike filters etc

I was thinking more along the lines that since dealers are having such a downturn in business they are likely to do less than workshop quoted price for the coding OR did anyone know somewhere cheaper to get it done?
