Spirit Leam Spa / Tollbar Warwick - are/were these the same?

Looking for a VW dealership to service the wife's car, and have seen a recommendation for Tollbar Warwick, except they're a Volvo dealer. But Spirit VW is just around the corner...and something is niggling in my mind that they're a new name.

So - are Spirit completely different, did they buy Tollbar out, or is it just re-branding?

Can't comment on Tollbar. I use to use Spirit when I had a VW company car and found them annoying. Nothing major, just annoying. I've always found Listers OK for my Audi. There's a VW one in Stratford.

Listers (Cov AND S'ford) were absolutely hopeless - they knew we were looking for a car of this spec, they knew our budget, they even had at least two cars in that would have fitted our needs (saw second one advertised the same time as the one we eventually bought), but they never called us. Even AFTER a friend of a friend who works for them had had a word with the sales people after we had to call them about the first one (loaned out to another dealership the weekend we wanted to see it, apparently! ), we never got called back.

So if they think they're getting our servicing business...

Skip the dealers and look for a reputable independent I used www.autops.co.uk 10mins of J11 of the M40. There are others around.
