Can anyone advise on how much it would cost to run one of these? Looking at maybe getting a 56/07 plate one.

I guess things like:

Tyres - How often they wear out, and how much they cost
Servicing - How much different services cost
MPG
Any other things I should know

Thanks!

We've ran one for nearly two years - 19.5K miles so far.

Averages 30+ mpg, but if you are doing commuting into heavy traffic, we got almost consistently 27.4mpg.

Rear runflats have done about 15K so far,and fit for a good while yet. Front look good.

First service included wiper blades (£38) and came to £260 all in. Only had that at about 16K miles.

Had mine for 14 months, oil service was £220, averaging 34mpg, no other costs whatsoever.

Cheap performance motoring, I guess if you drve like a nutter you will get far less than me. I have spent a fortune on the right waxes for inside and out, best investment ever.

That said, I am selling u to buy an M6 !!!! Given a VW to run around in so going for something crazy.

If interested pm me, if not great car to own and drive on a daily basis.

I’ve had mine now for 14 months and done 11K miles in it. I’m getting an average of 30.5mpg. Fuel consumption fluctuates slightly dependant on just how much of a hurry I’m in. On road the worst I’ve had from a tank is 25 whilst on a trip back up the A1 from Rockingham I got 37.

Tyre wise I’ve just swapped mine front to back, one of the handy things about the SE cars, as the rears were looking very nearly shoot whilst the fronts were hardly touched. I’ve done 2 trackdays with the car though although only one of them was dry!

As for expense the only other money I’ve spent on mine was topping up the oil at around the 9K mark and upgrading the headlight bulbs as the originals are very poor.

you could probably save 600 quids going for normal tyres instead of the runflats...
