Anyone running Falken tyres on their Tuscan?

Just looking at tyres and wondering if anyone runs Falken tyres on their Tuscan? I know a lot of Chim and Griff drivers use them rather than Toyos. Any thoughts?

I use Eagle F1's but i believe they have been discontinued now.

Falken's were excellent on my Skyline if that's any help.

I can get Eagles for the 245 40 18 fronts but not 255 35 18 rears. Any other options?

I have just got some from CTYRES 255/35/18s

running 245 falkens for the last 18 months, have lasted longer than the last set of Toyos already.

Are you running 245 40's all round?

Running Eagle F1 Asymmetric all round - not taken on track yet but no one has a bad word to say about them.

Certainly grips well.

Are you running 245 40's all round?

had a look this morning but my memory is a bit hazy....

front: Toyo proxi T1R (?) 235 40
rear: Falken 452 245 40

(might go 255 35 on the rear next time they seem popular)

Nowt wrong with Falkens.
I'm a Sportiva man myself, its a really nice soft compound.

Some of the named brands can be too hard coz the're designed for much heavier cars.
Just my opinion like.....

As Above........... I don't have them on the Tuscan, but I'd certainly be willing to fit them.

I used them on my 440 bhp Cosworth and they were perfect for everyday driving. They are a soft compound, which gives them great grip from the word go. But if your considering track days, then they're a little too soft, and will loose grip and overheat sooner than a harder compound like the Toyo T1R's.

Horses for courses, but as an everyday tyre, they're about as good as you'll get for dry & wet weather use.

Ditto. Had them on for about 8/9 months now (255/35/18s all round) and they have been very very stable.

I'm running Michelin PS2s. Very good, expensive, but you can source them from anywhere. I think out of all of the tyres I had on my two cars I was least happy with the Toyos T1-Ss.
