Mark, not sure how often he comes on PH these days but I did notice him post last week for the first time in ages so he obviously keeps one eye on it when in the UK. Might be worth dropping him an e-mail instead though.

Trust the Griff is well. Be good to catch up soon.

Hello every one, nice to be missed!!
As usual being very busy TVRing.Just finishing my Griff 500 rebuild.Imperial Blue, repainted chassis, new carperts(dark grey)new interior(lighter grey)oh and 400 horse up front all completely rebuilt.Johno, you would be most welcome to come and see.It will be at Earls Court on 11th December at the London Motor show.I will post some pics if any one is interested? I know its the S section, but its still from Blackpool. The S is now confined to the workshop.I have all the bits to do the rebuild, but I had to finish the griff first. Also done a 4.3 BV build for a friend of mine(show standard ofcourse!!) oh and a Formula Ford which reversed into the wall at Silverstone at 100 mph.Needed a bit more than T Cut!! So you can see I've been a bit tied up since January, but the S is next and should be a fairly quick rebuild.Expecting about March 04 to complete.

22,000 miles in 12 months ....

incl. 6 track days ....

Was 7th fastest at Zolder this year, but not that much faster than I was in the S ... to be fair, I wasn't trying as hard as I could, but often I'm quicker that way. There is plenty more to come.

Griffith is being used for work this week to stretch its legs before winter slow down. It will still be used every week, but not every day any more. Not fair on it to sit in London traffic ... I get far more excited aout driving it at the weekends to consider using it every day again

The Chimaera has turned into a second car too. Funny how we drove the S's every day and then the more practical Tivs get confined to second cars!

Going to try to make VW although wont be in the Tiv as the gearbox linkeage has gone bang still, hope to make it and will see you then.

Funny I used my S every day as well, now the Griff is tucked up in the garage during the week, actually I think I’ll get it out tonight.
