Has anyone ever fitted a v8 of any type to a Noble, while looking through the ultima forums it stuck me that they are quite similar to the noble when the rear clam is lifted, surely theres enough space for say a N/A LS7?

It just crossed my mind as a potential option should the ford v6 become scrap.

Thoughts?

There is now a box out there that is crossaxle in a similar way to the Ford one but fits a longitude engine so could in theory fit... would cost a fortune to fit an LS7 tho... probably £30k to do it right (box and engine isnt cheap)... but would have a real 650 NA power for that biggrin

Surely fitting a supercharged V8 would just upset the balance and handling of the car?
After all it is the way the car handles the power and still goes round a corner that makes it what it is.
If you want to outdrag practically anything on the road and can put up with iffy aero and compromised handling buy an Ultima hehe

There is of course a V8 in the current M[whateverit'llbecalled] but that's a diddy likkle thing from Yamaha/Volvo.
