Just got home, over 5 hours after leaving home and spending just over an hour at the venue!

Knew the M25 was going to be bad heading back, so followed a Sat Nav Magical Mystery Tour across sarf London.
It was certainly an experience!

Event was great though, nice to finally meet Dr Evil Fish in person and of course the legendeary Diablo_Pete.
Also great to park next to two other black Corvettes. That's more than normally turn up to a CCCUK meet...

Cheers to one and all who attended (special kudos to those in totally open cars!) and Happy New Year.

Will get some pics and maybe a write-up on Auto-Journals.com in due course.

Thoroughly enjoyable day... seeing all the exotica there today I have to say I didn't mind the M6 being shoved in the back car park with all the other "normal" stuff (to be fair almost everyone had a special car out today :-)

My fave's

AC Cobra CRS - absolute nuts! carbon body with a V8 twin turbo engine from an esprit - WOW!!!
Ultima - Pete's black one with the Carbon wheels - got to be amazing on the track
Murcielago - V12 *** Black and I'm sure I used to see it in Richmond a while back but great to see and hear it here today
Mini with the S2000 engine - MENTAL!!
Ferrari Daytona - amazing condition for its age, looked superb

Great to meet a few old faces and also a few new over at Westferry... Garlick that VXR8 doesn't look bad at all in white smile

Nice to see some of the usuals and a good meet and great venue, bit brass monkeys though. Apologies to those that got subjected to abuse by the junior Cloths, thankfully they both slept in the car so I finally got some peace and quiet biggrin M25 was a shocker on the way home though, 3 hours or so to get back round to the M4 frown

Great event, loved the 2 Ford GT's, what a sound those 2 made. Saw the Police going into the barn as I was leaving, wonder what they wanted? Top morning and very professional.
Mark, the reason the Police were in attendance was sue to the breakin last night.

Big thanks to you Harsh for letting me jump in as passenger while my car's off the road.

Great selection of cars, and good to meet some fellow PH'ers.

Wow what night and day.

As you might know we were broken into last night and quite a bit of damage was done to the pub. The police sealed off the area overnight including the entrance to the car parks. Waited up all night for the scene of crimes to turn up, they finally released the pub to us at 9am. We cleaned up the mess the best we could. Then my head chef walked out.

So a few thankyous in order.

SEL/NWK TVR Car Club for washing up duties, car park duties, breakfast serving duties, clearing up duties, coffee making, etc etc......

My staff for keeping us sane and not cracking under the pressure.

All of you who turned up and thanked us personally.

I hope you all enjoyed the day and sorry if any of you had to wait too long for brekkie.

I've just got back from dropping the in laws at Gatwick and hoping to put my feet up.

We will do it again.

I might be off that day. wink

Regards

Terry and Cathy
Manor Farm Barn.

Was good to see you again.

I cheated on the way home and had a tour through London coming in on the A12 round the norf circular and back out on the M1.

Very well organised event - big thanks to those who sorted it, and to the owners of the place (nice breakfast!) and the marshalls. A better venue than VW I thought.

The minis with the Honda and Rover engine in were very interesting - though the latter looked a handful as it left. Who needs a steering wheel with torque steer like that biggrin Mental, but v. interesting and good packaging. Nice also to see/hear so many V8s in attendance.

Traffic back was a 'mare (50mins there, 2hrs back), but then with everyone looking for 50% off at every shopping conurbation, it's to be expected I guess.

Terry, you sir are a legend. Personally I would have been a miserable so and so after being awake all night, but whenever I saw you you were smiling. Thanks mate, you did us proud.

Apologies to anyone who suffered temporary deafness as I fired up and drove away, bloody loud eh wink

Great meet with a good selection of motors. I would just like to thank pied piper for allowing us all to take over the place, especially considering the unfortunate events in the early hours. I hope the SOCO managed to get something to work with to catch the scum bags!!

You were in the white electric car right? hehe

Big thanks to everyone for putting on a great meet. For the sudden influx of people I thought it went really well. So many places just fall apart when that happens but all the staff kept smiling and just got on with it. Perfect.

Some nice bits of metal and plastic in the carpark to look around between bouts of frostbite and good to chat to many people that are online friends.
